My Interview is to a very
important businessman in my country called Ricardo Abuawad. Ricardo started his
own business with help from nobody. He is the creator of the most consumed
cookies in Bolivia called “Mabels”, and then after more then 10 years of experience
in the factory he decided to sell his factory to Nestlé. I interviewed him and
asked three questions.
1.What does it mean to be
an entrepreneur?
An entrepreneur is a
person that has vision. It is important to visualize first your goals because
entrepreneurs know perfectly what their goals are. Also, being entrepreneurs
means a person that has experience, and has failed a couple of times. Most entrepreneurs
have been though hard times and thanks to those bad moments is that they had
learned to walk in the correct path.
2.What do you think I
should learn in an entrepreneurship course?
I think you will learn in
this course skills of how to be an entrepreneur. However, being an entrepreneur
is something you will have to build with your hard work. In ta future, people
that know you will see if you learned something from this course.
3.What do you wish you
had been taught in school before setting out on your own path as an
entrepreneur?
I studied nuclear
engineering; therefore, nobody thought me how to be a successful men.
Therefore, my answer is that the only thing that set my path as an entrepreneur
was motivation and necessity. However, it can help some people but it is completely
different in every person.
This interview made me reflect that success in the business world
is all about motivation and hard work. The only person that decides whether you
are going to be successful person is you. Entrepreneurs set their goals first ,and
then make them happen.
