My Entrepreneurship Story

My entrepreneurship story is about my grandparent. He was born in Palestine, and because of all the conflicts with the Jews he decided to leave his country and pursue a better feature. Therefore, he moved to Bolivia because all he wanted was to live without war. His first year’s in Bolivia where very tough because he did not know the language. He barely had money to buy food, so it was very complicated. Back when he lived in Palestine, he studied music because it was his passion. He played more than five instruments, and he collected CD’s just for a hobby. However, he started selling CD’s, and back in those times the CD’s where something new. Then, when he had more money he made the first factory that made CD’s in Bolivia. Then an idea came to his head, and decided to build a radio station to promote the CD’s and the musician he worked with. The radio was so successful that nowadays the radio called “Radio Panamerica” is the most important radio of the country. Moreover, with all the profits from his hard work he decided to build a Hotel located en Lapaz, Bolivia called “Hotel President”. My grandparents name was Miguel Dueri he died about eight months ago, and now all my family is administrating everything he has done. This is why I’m taking this course because for me he was an entrepreneur, and someday I would like to make half of what he has done. So, I know this class will provide me those tools to be successful in a future.
